The first week of the fest is nearly over, and whether you've written an entire fic, haven't figured out what fandom you're going to write for, or are somewhere in between, we wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that you've got this. (You've got this.)

Remember to drink water, or another hydrating fluid, and eat regularly, as being hungry or thirsty may slow down your creative process and writing, as well as your body itself.

You have seven weeks left, which is plenty of time to write. If it takes you a long time to write, the deadline might seem terrifyingly close. And that's okay. You can do this!

If schedules help you, don't forget to make one. For me, taking out my laptop and writing at 2p every day helps me, because then even if I'm struggling to write a single word, I have a set end time - dinner.

You can do this. I believe in each and every one of you, and you will do wonderfully.

If you're stuck, try out the challenges of the week, which have been posted already. There are two of them - one is something to get you writing, and the other is difficult, and should really challenge you. You can do either one, both, or neither.
